The roller ski track is a resting place for cyclists, roller skaters and skiers. Larisa Lazutina Park in Odintsovo Ski slope named after Larisa Lazutina

If you want to spend a day off in the fresh air by the lake or in a dense, clean coniferous forest, without feeding mosquitoes, but walking along a flat asphalt road of varying levels of difficulty and length, and all this 6 km from the Moscow Ring Road, we offer an overview of our small travel around Larisa Lazutina Park in Odintsovo or (its official name) “Odintsovo Park of Culture, Sports and Recreation named after Hero of Russia Larisa Lazutina”, and popularly simply “Lazutinka”.

So, in this article you will learn:

Lazutina Park in winter

Having learned that in Odintsovo there is a park with a professional roller ski track for Larisa Lazutina, we thought that only athletes and skiers come here, and we would not be able to walk peacefully on foot. But we were wrong: you can come without skis in winter, and even more so, you can take a walk along any ski slope in the park even with children.

Below is a small photo report of our walk:

And these are the ski rental prices for adults:

A set of children's skis costs 200 rubles per hour (sizes 27 to 35).

Snow scooter, sled - 200 rub. at one o'clock.

KTRAK: 15 min - 100 rub., 30 min - 150 rub., 60 min - 250 rub., 24 hours - 1500 rub.

You must provide a document (passport or driver's license) as collateral. Or a deposit amount equal to the cost of the equipment.

Rental office opening hours: daily, from 9.00 to 20.00.

Main objects of the park

Odintsovo Park of Culture, Sports and Recreation occupies about 145 hectares of forest. It was here that athlete Larisa Lazutina prepared for her competitions and, of course, the main attraction of the park is the roller ski track, 6 km long.

Roller ski track- This is an asphalt road of a winding closed shape with sharp turns and slides.

Roller ski track layout

Along the route you can walk, run, walk with Nordic poles, ride a bicycle, rollerblade, ski, or skateboard.

Rules of conduct in the sports areas of the park in close-up

The route is divided into tracks for running and skating only in the central part of the park; further on the road is without markings.

The beginning of the way

There are lampposts along the Lazutinki roller ski track.

The entire roller ski track is surrounded by dense forest and centuries-old spruce trees

Common spruce. Age – 121 years

At the very beginning of the park there is a rental point with not very reasonable prices. So, renting a bike costs 300 rubles. per hour, roller skate rental – 200 rub. at one o'clock. Therefore, it is better to come with your own equipment.

Also, all toilets, cafes and coffee shops are located only at the beginning of the park at the main entrance.

Central entrance with rental office and fitness studio

There are many information posts at the beginning of the park

Spring

Along the highway you can easily reach the spring following the sign. The water in the spring is clean, cold and tasty. Bring water containers, it's worth it. There is an equipped access to the water and parking for bicycles.

Path to the spring

But for some reason the sign to the spring is only on one side of the route (in the direction of travel), going in the opposite direction you can miss it. Therefore, it is better to use a map.

The same pointer to the spring

We use the Maps.me application, it is free and can work without the Internet. By the way, this application very well shows all walking routes and the names of all key objects and attractions.

Screenshot of the park map from your phone. The pink line is a roller ski track where Larisa Lazutina trained

Forest Lake

From the spring, literally after 5-10 minutes, three paths to the lake begin at a leisurely pace.

We liked the third path better, starting at a small edge. You can walk along it and also comfortably ride a bicycle. Other paths are narrower and overgrown with grass.

Forest Lake is small, the water is somewhat cloudy, but children swim willingly. On one bank there is a bungee jump, on the other there is a wide clearing for relaxation. On weekends, people come with tents for the whole day, barbecue, some fish, others swim, there is enough space for everyone.

There is a small clearing for barbecue and relaxation

Panda park and playground

If you are going to the park with children, there is a modern playground for them with climbing frames, as well as a panda rope park.

Playground

For adults there is a small sports ground with exercise equipment, a volleyball court, and a fitness studio.

The sports ground for adults is occupied by children

Kurgans

Another attraction of the park is the ancient Slavic mounds of the 11th-13th centuries. These are small hills, burial places, they are easy to find by looking at these yellow signs.

Now let's talk a little about the pros and cons of the park, which we subjectively noted.

Pros and cons of the park

Pros of the park:

  1. Fresh forest air.
  2. Beautiful clean coniferous forest.
  3. Lots of paths for walking.
  4. There is a place to swim.
  5. An excellent place for sports and physical activity.
  6. Availability of large free parking.
  7. Entrance to the park is free.
  8. There are few people even on weekends (especially on the paths immediately after the panda park).
  9. In the evening the track is illuminated.
  10. A gathering place for athletes and people leading a healthy lifestyle (for motivation).
  11. There is security in the park and in the parking lot.

Cons of the park:

  1. Toilets are only at the beginning of the park.
  2. There are no benches to rest.
  3. Some forest trails are rolled into mud by ATVs.
  4. High prices at the rental point.
  5. Difficult to reach by public transport.
  6. The cafe is only at the beginning of the park (take water and food with you).

Who is the park suitable for?

Of course, the park is primarily intended for athletes and people involved in active recreation.

Secondly, for people with children.

And finally, for those who love long walks in nature.

Steep sections of the roller ski track

There are many such picturesque paths

Opening hours, cost, how to get there

Working hours: admission is free every day, excluding weekends and holidays, open around the clock!

Parking cost: free.

Entrance to the park: free.

Address: Moscow region, Odintsovo, 3rd km. Krasnogorskoe highway.

How to get there:

1) By car from Moscow

The shortest and fastest route is the Odintsovo Northern Bypass toll road. The entrance to the toll road is located at the 56th km of the Moscow Ring Road. You need to drive through the Samynka River and turn towards Moscow at the junction called “turn to 1st Uspenskoe Highway”. After this, you need to drive about one and a half kilometers and make a right turn called “exit No. 3 - towards the city of Odintsovo”, and then a left turn into the tunnel under the toll road.

If you are driving from Moscow along the Minskoye Highway (M1 highway), turn right under the arch - onto the Mozhaiskoye Highway. Then turn right again, onto Krasnogorskoe Highway, then again onto the toll road towards the region until the interchange “turn to 1st Uspenskoe Highway”. After this, you need to drive about one and a half kilometers and make a right turn called “exit No. 3 - towards the city of Odintsovo”, and then a left turn into the tunnel under the toll road.

There is a free car park next to the park that can accommodate about 200 cars.

P.S. Yes, some of the attractions that we did not mention remain: the bird glade and the Invisible Mountain.

We never reached the bird clearing, because... the road turned out to be very dirty. But we didn’t have enough time for the mountain, so we left these two objects for next time. Maybe someone has reached them? Write in the comments. :)

Well, this Lazutinka park pleasantly surprised us and I think we will take our hike or bike ride along the highway more than once.

Have a nice holiday everyone, discover new places for short walks and long trips with us.

How do we save on hotels?

It's very simple - look not only on booking. We like the RoomGuru search engine. He searches for discounts on Booking and 70 other booking sites simultaneously.

Ski slope Odintsovo appeared in this place several decades ago. At first it looked like a track being prepared by an old snowstorm. Then, over time, a roller ski track appeared, then a sports park, then lighting. Now this place is called "Sports Park named after Hero of the Russian Federation Larisa Lazutina."
At the start there are houses with changing rooms, rentals and services.
The route is located in a very picturesque Podushkin forest. The starting area is dominated by beautiful relict coniferous species. Further from the start, the forest gives way to mixed species
The route is 6.5 km. lap on the roller ski track. The relief is located on the slopes of the Saminka River ravine. The first 1.5 km. from the start the terrain is not strong, but later on the route there are slopes of varying lengths and angles of inclination. Around 5 km. the drags are replaced by sharp and short descents/ascents. Some slopes have turns, but in winter they pose no danger (for a trained skier).
The track is prepared quite regularly with a snowcat under horse. Sliced on the side classic. The entire length of the ski slope lighting is functioning, which is an exceptional rarity for good tracks in the Moscow region.
With the advent of the sports park, a large flow of vacationers and walkers also appeared on the track, which did not have a positive impact on the preparation of the tracks.
Many competitions are held on the track, and various sports clubs also conduct training.

Roller ski track named after. Larisa Lazutina in Odintsovo appeared in 2002 on the territory of the Northern Bypass. It was named in honor of a native of this town near Moscow - a world-famous skier, multiple world and Olympic champion, who initiated the construction of this facility.

Description of the route

The track is part of a sports park and is located in a very picturesque corner of the Podushkinsky forest. Its starting area is dominated by coniferous trees, which are then replaced by mixed species. Inside the six and a half kilometer long roller ski circle is the Saminka River. The terrain along the entire route is uneven. There are more or less flat sections, and there are slopes with various slopes, steep ascents and descents with turns.

The track is perfect for cycling, and in the cold season it turns into a ski track. Hikers also come here to enjoy nature, clean air and pleasant company. The territory on which the object is located belongs to a mound complex with burials of the Vyatichi of the 11th-13th century, which also attracts people interested in history.

The infrastructure of the route is quite developed. There is artificial lighting and special markings. At the start there are houses with changing rooms. Here you can rent equipment and get other services (food, drinks, etc.). Free parking is available for clients. The place is very cozy, clean, civilized. The noise from the bypass road does not reach here.

Famous athletes of the country improve their skills on the track, but it is not officially considered a training base. Anyone can enjoy cycling or skiing here. Various competitions are regularly held on the site.

Roller ski track (Odintsovo): how to get there?

You can get to the “Lazutinskaya” (as it is popularly called) highway from Moscow by car along the Minskoye Highway, turning at Odintsovo onto the Mozhaiskoye Highway, and then, already in the city, onto Krasnogorskoye. The latter will only take you 2.5 km.

Another option: take a train from the capital to Odintsovo, where you take minibus No. 46 (get off at the Verkhneye Otradnoe stop) or cover the 3 km of the journey on your own (by bicycle).

Have a nice holiday!

disadvantages of the park: there are no separate zones for walking and separately for athletes (skiers, cyclists and rollerbladers). As a result, it is impossible for pedestrians to walk normally; you are constantly waiting for someone to hit you (there have already been cases). There are no designated areas for barbecue, as a result there is now nowhere to fry barbecue.

A good place! There would be more of these! For example, why couldn’t it be possible to turn the forest between Zheleznodorozhny and Balashikha into the same kind of sports forest park?

Markin Vasily 22.12.2017
Super cool place for sports and recreation. Every year it gets better and better. By summer it would be nice to make special places where you can grill kebabs, a separate area for picnics in the fresh air in an excellent location.

Petr Filatov 05.12.2017
Great park! A good place for ski training on weekdays. The weekend is reminiscent of P. Bruegel’s paintings. In winter, the track is regularly prepared with a snowcat, and in summer it is swept. There is lighting, locker rooms, parking, a cafe, a sports ground, and a children's playground. One of the minuses is the closure of the 5 km finishing loop in winter for use by lugers, which reduces the distance of the main circle and deprives skiers of the finishing cascade of climbs.

Yuri Fed 13.08.2017
Everyone will find a place to their liking. There is a good playground and a place for parents to relax nearby. For sports lovers there is a work-out area, a fenced football field with and without covering. Lots of tracks for running, cycling and rollerblading. And a panda park.

Konstantin Gavrilin 02.08.2017
A great place for walks, sports and relaxation! There are, of course, fallen trees lying along the routes, but let’s hope they will be removed! I would especially like to mention Oleg’s diner - exotic coffee, delicious falafel, and refreshing lemonade! And on weekends, delicious cupcakes! It’s immediately obvious that the person is passionate about his work! Everyone should work like this)))

Sergei Prokhorov 20.07.2017
There is parking and a cafe. Good rollerskiing track. However, due to the fact that there is no separate path for pedestrians, the route is quite dangerous. Pedestrians and cyclists/roller skaters/skateboarders move along the same road. There have been cases of collisions between pedestrians and cyclists.

Natalya Savich 29.06.2017
A wonderful park, beautifully landscaped! There are wonderful playgrounds where children of any age can relax, a panda park, tracks for scooters and roller skates, and children's events are held on weekends! There is a place to have a snack, drink tea, coffee and just sit on the open veranda of the cafe. There are also bicycle and roller-skiing trails.

Moroshkina Daria 26.06.2017
I always liked this route, even when there was nothing. Forest and road. And for sports - cycling, rollerblading or skiing - the track is unforgettable. Adrenaline, descents and ascents are what you need. Now they have expanded and now there is everything - although this is just the beginning!) I love and still love being here.. Today I will talk about the famous track surrounded by the Podushkinsky forest - Roller Ski Track named after. Lazutina (roller skier or Lazutinka). The route was opened in 2002 in honor of the 45th anniversary of the city of Odintsovo. I've been familiar with the route for quite a long time. I got to know her in more detail 12 years ago, when I bought my first skates. At that time the route was not very popular and many had not even heard of it. Here the adrenaline rose - due to winding turns, descents and ascents at the same time. The route itself is paved and runs through the forest. At the moment, the length of the route is 6 km and 4 meters wide. I really love hiking here, I love cycling and rollerblading. Now it is being improved. And more and more surprising and useful things are appearing. There is a children's playground and a bungee-style zip line. There is a rope park. Ramp for cyclists, volleyball court, ski school, horizontal bars and sports equipment. In the future they are going to open a swimming pool))) Oh.. It has become ten times better. Quite recently we started to fully equip it. Before this, the highway was empty, but it didn’t make it attractive in any way. Now this is the pride of Odintsovo. Or I really want it. I can talk about her for a very long time. Most importantly, I love the forest, but since it is not always possible to walk in the forest, for example due to dampness, there is no reason to worry. This is the best place to spend free time and most importantly, everyone will find entertainment for themselves in this place.

Maxim Tarasevich 24.06.2017
A place with a plus!!! Here you can not only spend time comfortably with your family and children, but also play sports productively! Several well-maintained paths of varying lengths and challenging terrain are suitable for skiers and cyclists. Also, the various routes here will help you to run effectively.

Julia Yem 20.06.2017
A good place for active recreation, in the summer we ride a bicycle, rollerblades, scooters, and in the winter we go skiing with the whole family. There is a children's playground and an area with exercise equipment. Cleanest air. I recommend visiting...

SVETLANA Povoroznyuk 17.06.2017
I really liked it. Words cannot express everything. Good tracks, everything is clean and beautiful. There is a place to eat and relax. The playground is spacious for children.

Burbyshnev Vitaly 12.06.2017
Wonderful children's playground. Excellent sports ground. It's possible to park. Navigation in the park is terrible. There is a whole quest to find the toilet (it is in the parking lot in the form of stalls)

Julia Goryacheva 05.05.2017
Very comfortable, large women's locker room, 50 rubles, there is a shower. There is usually enough space in the parking lot for everyone. Excellent quality ski slopes in winter, good asphalt for roller skating, sports grounds. Since this is the only park in Odintsovo, everyone who wants to take a walk flocks here, including on foot. Walking zones and “speed zones” where people ride bicycles, roller skates, or skis are not separated; sometimes dangerous situations arise with pedestrians

Alexey 19.04.2017
An excellent park for cross-country skiing, great for walking with children. In summer there are many sports activities. The downside is the small parking lot.

Konstantin Zyatkov 19.02.2017
Even at zero it's good. The ski track is in satisfactory condition. Children's skis and boots are available for rental. Found size 32. Then we attended an art master class. The artist spent an hour doing watercolors with the children. I really liked the cafe: the family ate a couple of pizzas, borscht, Caesar salads, sweets, and fresh juices. Everything is at a good level.

Irina Kraynoff 29.01.2017
Excellent place to relax with children; g skiing, sledding, and in the summer roller skis and bicycles. There is one thing that was not taken into account during the design - parking and entry and exit. The popularity of the place is growing, many events and competitions are held here, but the entrance is very narrow, a lot of cars accumulate at the exit due to the short traffic light (10 seconds), if it is winter, everyone also slips (exit downhill), and only 2 cars have time to leave . And there is a catastrophic shortage of parking spaces on busy days. You have to leave cars along the road. They closed Lukovka and opened coffee shops that are never full. Come here early in the morning to be sure of the place, then you will have a really good rest.

Vitaly Ivanenko 24.01.2017
An excellent well-groomed roller ski track, with lighting, a children's playground and a sports ground. Locker rooms, storage rooms, shop and rental of sports equipment, cafe. Many sections for sports, instructors and trainers, guarded parking, internet. Sports grounds.

Mike F 16.01.2017
We visited in winter - great slides and ski tracks! All tracks and slides are illuminated. Swing-carousel for children. Cafe. Parking. Nice place!

Andrey Fetiskin 16.01.2017
A huge beautiful park for sports and walks. I really hope that they will try to increase the parking at the main entrance in the near future, as the situation on weekends is very difficult

Alexander Meshchersky 06.01.2017
A very good rollerskiing track. The first half of the route has weak relief - it mostly goes down - in the second part there are lifts on which you can work. A very comfortable place for skiing, prepared with a snowcat. For roller training, you need to choose a time - when there are no walkers, otherwise there is a risk of running into some child whose careless parents let him go for a walk on the fastest section. If you are unsure on roller skis, it is better to walk some slopes.

Natalia Saiganova 02.01.2017
Here you can relax with the whole family and go skiing and sledding. There are snow and ice slides, fenced off from skiers. Nobody bothers anyone. There are beautiful and interesting children's playgrounds with swings, slides, climbing frames and bungee jumping. There is winter equipment rental, locker rooms, and cafes. You can get to the forest not only by car, there is a parking lot, but also by minibus 11. It’s also convenient to get back, I got on a minibus right in the forest and went home. The entire forest is beautifully decorated with garlands, and there is a large Christmas tree. When it gets dark in the forest, the lights are turned on, so you can walk 24 hours a day.

Aleksandr Starikov-Razborov 10/18/2016
A wonderful park for sports recreation. Beautiful forest, historical mounds. Big square. Weekend programs for children. I advise you to take food with you

Igor" Ximera 12.07.2016
I like to ride there, I really like it, I also like to swim in the lake in the forest, the spring is also good. In general, the place is sporty + relaxing. There are playgrounds, sports grounds, exercise equipment, etc..

Valery Voit 21.06.2016
A great place for a family vacation, just super....everything is very well equipped!!! The only negative is that the road passing nearby is expensive!!! As for the rest......I recommend it to everyone!
