Alexander Sazonov: There are ups and downs. Statistics of performances for Russian clubs

Alexander Sazonov, one of the old-timers of Traktor, is no longer black and white. After nine such different seasons in Chelyabinsk, the 30-year-old defender moves to Neftekhimik. Saying goodbye, the site says “Thank you” to Sasha and remembers his career at Traktor.

A graduate of the Omsk Avangard, Alexander Sazonov ended up in Chelyabinsk back in the 2001/2002 season, when he played 6 matches in the Super League for Mechel. Then in the career of the young hockey player there was a business trip to Kurgan “Mostovik”. And in the 2002/2003 season, Sazonov moved to Traktor. Then, of course, he had no idea that he would spend nine years here.

Season 2005/2006. The last one before returning to the elite. Game against Kurgan "Zauralya"

Sasha found perhaps the most turbulent time in the history of the club. The mid-2000s was something. He went through all these crazy moments with Traktor - a scandal in the ever-memorable nightclub Bagheera, hysteria about a possible merger with Mechel, games against clubs that came to matches in Chelyabinsk with two and a half fives. He played in matches against Novouralsk Kedr, Seversk Yantar and Prokopyevsk Shakhtar. The main joke of that time was this: “Who is Traktor playing with today? – With “Southern Urals”. - With a hotel?

Then, it seems, everyone was interested in only one question - Caroline's: “How deep is this rabbit hole?”

At the ceremony awarding the team gold medals of the Major League together with Alexei Zavarukhin, Mikhail Emelyanov and Ivan Savin.

In Sazonov’s first season in Chelyabinsk, Traktor took—it’s scary to remember even now—eighth place in the eastern zone of the Major League! Fortunately, the next year the rise began and Traktor reached the semi-finals of the playoffs, where they lost the series to Hammer (1-3). In the 2004/2005 season, the black and whites, considered one of the favorites in the race for two tickets to the Super League (yes, back then teams were still relegated and entered), lost to Nizhny Novgorod in the quarterfinals. And finally, in the 2005/2006 season, Traktor returned. Sazonov went through this whole difficult path with the club.

Lean, selfless, with a high pain threshold and never, even with the most complex injuries, complained about anything. A real man - it’s not for nothing that Sasha’s favorite pastime in civilian life is hunting. Reliable and, if necessary, fought. Like for example here:

And of course, not a fan of interviews, however, he still agreed with the need to say a few words live on air during a break from time to time.

Preparing for the first season with Andrei Nazarov. Gorgeous photo. Who is not here!

A player whose team-up with Oleg Piganovich was kindly called “Three Axes” by some fans: Sazonov played under number “7”, Piga – under “77”. In honor of the classic Soviet port wine. Others invented the concept of the “Sazona Zone,” which is chic in terms of the music of the language.

The defender, together with striker Lesha Zavarukhin, left the “Major League” combination in the history of the club. The first one made a great pass to the opponent's blue line, the second one got open, went one-on-one and scored. This topic, despite its obvious old-school nature, from time to time surprised the most sophisticated opponents even in the KHL.

Over nine seasons at Traktor, Sazonov played 440 matches, in which he scored 92 (32+60) points. In 2006, he helped the club return to the Super League, in 2007, maintain its place in the elite of Russian hockey, and in 2008, reach the Super League playoffs for the first time in ten years. He was the captain and assistant captain of the team. In 2005, Sazonov, who together with his teammates formed the basis of the Russian student team, won gold at the World Universiade.

In Chelyabinsk, Sasha met his wife, his sons were born here.

Unfortunately, his story in Traktor is over.

Now the main old-timer of Traktor is Andrey Popov. He has six seasons behind him in his native club (plus two in the black-and-white farm). He's only 22.

BONUS

Fight between Alexander Sazonov and Denis Sergeev

“This year, the regional stage of the oldest children’s hockey tournament in Russia, “Golden Puck,” brought together more than three thousand participants from all districts of the Belgorod region. Why so many? The fact is that our structure of the draw has changed. The first stage is municipal. Schools within each district play there. We have 21 of them plus Belgorod. The Prokhorovsky district, for example, entered 44 teams, and in others there were 10-12 teams.”

– Not everywhere there are ice skating rinks, how did you cope with this?

– This year we started linking districts to ice arenas. The Hockey Federation of the Belgorod Region and the sports committee agreed to ensure that the regions interact with each other and the municipal stage takes place in indoor arenas. There are two indoor skating rinks in Belgorod, one each in Gubkin, Shebekino, Alekseevka, Rakitny and Stary Oskol. True, in Stary Oskol the skating rink is private. Therefore, there are problems with access there; you have to pay. In the rest, ice for competitions was provided free of charge. This is akin to a municipal order. For example, Belgorod gave away ice that was empty in the early morning, when the students of the hockey youth sports school were in school. At this time, the Belgorod and Yakovlevsky districts arrived, from 9 to 11 o’clock the qualifying games were held.

– There were probably few spectators in the stands in the morning.

– Many fans came to the finals in Belgorod’s Serebryany Donets. Who usually goes to see the children? Parents, friends, classmates, peers. Of course, it is difficult to get from the regions. By the way, due to the attraction of more local players to the Belgorod MHC, there are also more spectators at the games - classmates come, fans and admirers.

– Were the winners of the regional stage supposed to go to the All-Russian final?

– We were supposed to go to Sochi for it, but the February quarantine ruined everything. We missed the preparation. We decided that this season no one will represent the Belgorod region at all-Russian competitions.

– “Golden Puck” is a tournament with traditions, who is involved in it now?

– Four years ago we created a regional hockey federation with the task of developing the hockey vertical – “Golden Puck”, youth sports school, “youth team”. In the first “Golden Puck” in 2011, there was no question of any municipal stage, since everything was done in a short time.

In 2012, the federation and the authorities let the situation get a little out of control - and the level of organization of the Golden Puck tournament and preparation of the competition dropped somewhat. Then all resources were refocused on creating a youth team in Belgorod, so the approach to organizing the Golden Puck tournament was different. And last season, Alexander Pashkov became the head of the federation, and the new task was to reach a new level in the organization of children's hockey. Last year, the winners and best players of the matches were given tablets and figurines. This season there is a different approach - the guys receive certificates for purchases at a sports store for a good amount and the best players in the nominations receive a tablet. In short, there is an incentive to win.

About the MHL

– Are new additions coming for the Belgorod hockey club, which plays in the Youth League Championship (MHL), from the local “Golden Puck”?

– Older guys still have two or three years to grow up. There are players who can reach the youth team after some time. For gold puck players and children from youth sports schools, MHL hockey players are professionals. They already have contracts and a full-fledged championship. A completely different level. This year, HC Belgorod played in the Central Federal District competition among hockey players born in 1999-2001. That is, some of the gold puck players can play there next season. In general, in our sports school there is only one guy approaching the youth team. The bad thing is that there are few teams and tournaments in the Center region, and there is no place for the kids to grow there. And only this year the renewed ICCH “Center” began to hold tournaments. We hope that the skills of their participants will grow.

But for children to grow, they need to play, and we have about 15 official matches per season, which is very little. And so throughout the Black Earth Region. Many are content with commercial tournaments.

– Is it that bad?

– Children end up playing hockey or go to amateur teams after sports schools for one reason – there is no prospect. They understand that there is nowhere else to play. In the center of Russia, only Tambov, Bryansk, Belgorod and Lipetsk have teams left. But only in Voronezh there is a full-fledged club with a structure from the youngest set of children to the Major League. There, 200 people come to recruit.

- How are we?

– But with us, if 40-50 people come, then that’s good. Coaches go to schools and gather children. After a year, 20-25 people remain. There is no one to choose from for the main team of the region.

Welcome

– What are you doing to give young people more playing practice?

– The regional championship was organized. We gathered teams born in 2005-2006 - we had nine teams play this year. Children start playing at the age of ten; they will qualify for the Russian championship only after two years. There are teams that simultaneously play in the Voronezh region, that is, this season they have 50-60 official matches. They have room to grow, they play with equal and strong opponents.

– What about other ages?

– It’s even worse with others.

– Maybe we should launch some kind of promotion to attract kids to hockey?

– We have ideas, but for now I won’t give away the secrets of what the federation has planned to support the Youth League and children’s hockey. The idea was born at one of the meetings. Plus thanks to the series “Molodezhka”. When his first season was over, hundreds of 15-16-year-old guys called Orange Ice asking how to sign up for hockey. But it's too late at this age. There are amateur leagues for them, the Night Hockey League. Welcome there.

An excerpt characterizing Sazonov, Alexander Gennadievich

- Well, voyons, [listen,] calm down; I know your beautiful heart.
- No, I have an evil heart.
“I know your heart,” the prince repeated, “I value your friendship and would like you to have the same opinion of me.” Calm down and parlons raison, [let's talk properly] while there is time - maybe a day, maybe an hour; tell me everything you know about the will, and, most importantly, where it is: you must know. We will now take it and show it to the count. He probably already forgot about it and wants to destroy it. You understand that my only desire is to sacredly fulfill his will; I just came here then. I'm only here to help him and you.
– Now I understand everything. I know whose intrigue it is. “I know,” said the princess.
- That’s not the point, my soul.
- This is your protegee, [favorite,] your dear princess Drubetskaya, Anna Mikhailovna, whom I would not want to have as a maid, this vile, disgusting woman.
– Ne perdons point de temps. [Let's not waste time.]
- Ax, don't talk! Last winter she infiltrated here and said such nasty things, such nasty things to the Count about all of us, especially Sophie - I cannot repeat it - that the Count became ill and did not want to see us for two weeks. At this time, I know that he wrote this vile, vile paper; but I thought that this paper meant nothing.
– Nous y voila, [That’s the point.] why didn’t you tell me anything before?
– In the mosaic briefcase that he keeps under his pillow. “Now I know,” said the princess without answering. “Yes, if there is a sin behind me, a great sin, then it is hatred of this scoundrel,” the princess almost shouted, completely changed. - And why is she rubbing herself in here? But I will tell her everything, everything. The time will come!

While such conversations took place in the reception room and in the princess's rooms, the carriage with Pierre (who was sent for) and with Anna Mikhailovna (who found it necessary to go with him) drove into the courtyard of Count Bezukhy. When the wheels of the carriage sounded softly on the straw spread under the windows, Anna Mikhailovna, turning to her companion with comforting words, was convinced that he was sleeping in the corner of the carriage, and woke him up. Having woken up, Pierre followed Anna Mikhailovna out of the carriage and then only thought about the meeting with his dying father that awaited him. He noticed that they drove up not to the front entrance, but to the back entrance. While he was getting off the step, two people in bourgeois clothes hurriedly ran away from the entrance into the shadow of the wall. Pausing, Pierre saw several more similar people in the shadows of the house on both sides. But neither Anna Mikhailovna, nor the footman, nor the coachman, who could not help but see these people, paid no attention to them. Therefore, this is so necessary, Pierre decided to himself and followed Anna Mikhailovna. Anna Mikhailovna walked with hasty steps up the dimly lit narrow stone staircase, calling Pierre, who was lagging behind her, who, although he did not understand why he had to go to the count at all, and even less why he had to go up the back stairs, but , judging by the confidence and haste of Anna Mikhailovna, he decided to himself that this was necessary. Halfway up the stairs, they were almost knocked down by some people with buckets, who, clattering with their boots, ran towards them. These people pressed against the wall to let Pierre and Anna Mikhailovna through, and did not show the slightest surprise at the sight of them.
– Are there half princesses here? – Anna Mikhailovna asked one of them...
“Here,” the footman answered in a bold, loud voice, as if now everything was possible, “the door is on the left, mother.”
“Maybe the count didn’t call me,” Pierre said as he walked out onto the platform, “I would have gone to my place.”
Anna Mikhailovna stopped to catch up with Pierre.
- Ah, mon ami! - she said with the same gesture as in the morning with her son, touching his hand: - croyez, que je souffre autant, que vous, mais soyez homme. [Believe me, I suffer no less than you, but be a man.]
- Right, I'll go? - asked Pierre, looking affectionately through his glasses at Anna Mikhailovna.
- Ah, mon ami, oubliez les torts qu"on a pu avoir envers vous, pensez que c"est votre pere... peut etre a l"agonie. - She sighed. - Je vous ai tout de suite aime comme mon fils. Fiez vous a moi, Pierre. [Forget, my friend, what was wronged against you. Remember that this is your father... Maybe in agony. I immediately loved you like a son. Trust me, Pierre. I will not forget your interests.]
Pierre did not understand anything; again it seemed to him even more strongly that all this should be so, and he obediently followed Anna Mikhailovna, who was already opening the door.
The door opened into the front and back. An old servant of the princesses sat in the corner and knitted a stocking. Pierre had never been to this half, did not even imagine the existence of such chambers. Anna Mikhailovna asked the girl who was ahead of them, with a decanter on a tray (calling her sweet and darling) about the health of the princesses and dragged Pierre further along the stone corridor. From the corridor, the first door to the left led to the princesses' living rooms. The maid, with the decanter, in a hurry (as everything was done in a hurry at that moment in this house) did not close the door, and Pierre and Anna Mikhailovna, passing by, involuntarily looked into the room where the eldest princess and Prince Vasily. Seeing those passing by, Prince Vasily made an impatient movement and leaned back; The princess jumped up and with a desperate gesture slammed the door with all her might, closing it.

Just a couple of years ago, I didn’t even think that I would become an avid gardener,” Alexander ruffles the mane of the restless husky dog. - And here it’s been so long - both the beds and the construction of the house.

STARTED WITH FLOWERS

Alexander and his wife Elena, her sister and husband initially rented the plot. And then he was bought out. The house is small, but nice. The bathhouse is spacious. But the most important thing is a plot of eight acres right on the shore of Maly Kremenkul. I left the bathhouse and immediately went into the lake. True, the entire shore is overgrown with reeds. But removing them is a matter of time.

We want to organize our own small beach. The filling has already been done. Two dozen KamAZ trucks delivered soil. Next year I will bring black soil. Then we’ll get down to business with planting. For now I borrowed some black soil from my neighbors. My wife immediately decorated a bed of flowers. She says that it may be small, but it’s one of its own. I don't know about cucumbers and tomatoes. We will definitely plant onions, dill, parsley. I have no plans to expand the house yet. Although, if all the relatives come, about 15 people gather here.

The “Chaika” garden, where Sazonov gardens, became famous in Soviet times for having its own cinema, where popular films were shown in the evenings. The townspeople even specially came to “Chaika” for film shows.

PERCH IN FOIL

Hockey players have a short vacation. A couple of summer months - and again training, tournaments, championships. The first training camps will begin at the end of July. There will be no time for a garden here. Therefore, Alexander tries to rest as much as possible.

My eldest, Nikita, and I went fishing the other day. More precisely, I swam with an underwater gun, and he was waiting for me on the shore. I shot about two kilograms of perch. In the evening we fried it in foil. Yummy!

The perch caught in Maly Kremenkul weighs 2 kilos. Photo: Alexey MIKUSHIN

Among Nikolai's fishing trophies is a pike weighing eight kilos. Hunting achievements: ducks, hares, roe deer.

Alexander explained that he bought the garden to be closer to nature. There are plenty of fish in Maly Terenkul. Moreover, he goes hunting with friends. I even bought a powerful jeep - a Toyota Land Cruiser 100. Especially for off-road use. Although, he says, he got stuck on it too. The slurry almost reached the glass. They pulled it out with two tractors.

What else is important in the garden? Neighbours. Ours are wonderful. Experienced, with experience. When I retire from hockey, I will live here on the shore. Maybe I’ll build another house. In the meantime, I’m already here starting to prepare for the season. I run cross-country runs for four kilometers. I swim for half an hour. And there is always enough work. You get so drunk in a day! Muscles are always toned.

BY THE WAY

The legend of "The Seagull"

Sazonov’s neighbor in the garden, 77-year-old Valentina Larionovna Tinyakova in “The Seagull,” is a legendary person. She became famous for starring in the famous film “Spring on Zarechnaya Street.” Filming took place in Zaporozhye, where Valya came to stay with relatives. Valentina is a prominent girl, and she studied at GITIS. She appeared in episodes where the handsome actor Vladimir Gulyaev walked along the flowering alleys of the park.

And in recent years, Larionovna’s fame was brought to her by her battle for Maly Kremenkul. When the lake began to overflow, a woman on the annual “straight line” with Russian President Vladimir Putin asked: “Why are the gardens drowning, but the authorities don’t really do anything?” Then the regional governor, Pyotr Sumin, received a direct order from the president, and the lake was slightly drained by building a special diversion canal.
