MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Ural forward Vladimir Ilyin is attracting interest from big clubs, but he should stay in Yekaterinburg and return to his previous level of play. This opinion was expressed to TASS by the president of the Yekaterinburg football club Grigory Ivanov.

In the second part of last season, Ilyin scored 4 goals in 12 matches. This season, the 25-year-old player has scored one goal in 15 games in the Russian championship.

“There is interest in him, but I think Volodya did not play as well as he can: firstly, because he was injured, and secondly, big clubs began to come out and offer him something unclear. He still needs to gain a foothold in our club , to play in the Premier League thoroughly. Yes, Ilyin had a great end to last season, he helped the club a lot, we are very grateful to him and now we want him to start scoring again, we expect a good game from him. But there are no offers yet, but. We don’t want to give him away, we want him to play at his level,” said Ivanov.

Ural already signed two newcomers in December - midfielders 24-year-old Andrei Egorychev and 22-year-old Mingiyan Beveev, who previously played for Nosta Nosta Troitsk. Ivanov sees in them the future of domestic football.

“Very decent young guys, and we are giving them a chance. They have not played at a high level yet, but I think this is the future of the club and our football. I think Egorychev and Beveev will be able to play this season, they have the desire, their eyes are shining. The most important thing is that the players want to play, and not sign a contract and sit on the bench, this also often happens with us,” a TASS interlocutor commented on transfers.

"There are games that are embarrassing"

Based on the results of 20 rounds of the Russian Championship, Ural ranks eighth in the standings with 25 points (5 wins and 10 draws).

“You can’t be happy with the result of the first part of the championship, after all, the team is in eighth place, in some matches we played very well, in others not so much. Maybe we didn’t get points somewhere, and there are games for which we are ashamed. “Nevertheless, we scored a lot of points and played well in most matches,” Ivanov summed up the results of the first part of the championship.

Ural will continue to search for players in the winter. “Ask the head of any club, and he will say: yes, we are planning, we are looking for reinforcements in each line. We look, we look. We will find it - of course, we will take it,” added Ivanov.

By the way, it is possible. If you look at my statistics like this, then perhaps I would have joined the race. But, as they say, everything that is done is for the better. We are all strong in hindsight (laughs). So far so good.

- Are you able to score 10 goals this season?

It is clear that many more goals can be scored in 8 rounds. You just need to prepare for each specific match. Now we have a game with Tomsk. We need to win. adds, a dangerous opponent.

- Why?

Theoretically, you don’t have to tune in, but “Tom” gives their best in every match.

- Now he has recovered in Ural. Serious competitor?

Roman is a famous forward, it’s hard to argue with that. It’s nice to fight with such a player for a place in the lineup and defeat him.

We communicate normally. But there is no hint from him. I somehow try to notice things that are useful for myself. Normal work environment. Nothing special.

- For you, your idol is not Pavlyuchenko, but?

Certainly. I'm from St. Petersburg myself. Kerzhakov was constantly in sight. This is the best striker in the history of the national team and Russian football.

- In this championship, “Ural” will no longer play with. Do you regret that you won't have the opportunity to score?

Of course it's prestigious. In principle, I note such moments for myself. It was nice to score, twice. I think he is a very good goalkeeper. I wanted to hit the goal. I also like him as a goalkeeper. Once you hit his goal, it already means something (laughs).

- And whose goal would you like to excel at more - Spartak’s, where, or Zenit’s, which is defended by?

Probably Rebrov.

- Why?

He is a more experienced goalkeeper, and he is a leader. “Zenith” also wants to score, this team means something to me.

- You are a student of St. Petersburg football. Was it possible to get into?

No. There were no options. Somehow I passed by all this. I moved my way, through KFK.

- And now in the championship race you’re probably rooting for the St. Petersburg team?

Yes, I wouldn't say so. Now all attention is focused on the Ural. Actually, according to statistics, we are the champions in the spring part of the Premier League tournament. I even read somewhere that the champion will come to open Krestovsky. (laughs).

I prefer to play in the center of attack. So I’m ready to replace one of them.

Are winning the Russian Cup with Ural and playing at the home World Cup achievable goals for football player Vladimir Ilyin?

Of course, achievable. Why not win the Cup final? The chances are real. Playing at a home world championship is a more difficult task, but we have to work and not lower the demands on ourselves. I hope the coaches will pay attention to me.

The forward of the Yekaterinburg FC Ural Vladimir Ilyin, along with other team players, went on vacation. - How do you assess the first part of the Russian Championship? Where did you see FC Ural before the start of the season?

I rate the team's results quite well. Before the season there were no thoughts about a specific place in the table. We prepared to play to win every game.

We started the season well, we won, but there were no defeats at all at first. Overall everything was great. They even started talking about European Cups. As a result, the tournament position is not bad in terms of points scored. But there was a residue that the team went without victories for the last six games. But it’s okay, we’ll work at the training camp and hopefully improve the situation.

- You and the team will perform at the FNL Cup in Cyprus. One of the rivals of the “bumblebees” will be “Tyumen”, for which two of our football players play - Alexander Stavpets and Artem Yusupov. Will the match be difficult?

- Don't think. But these players will be more motivated to prove to those in Ural that they were undeservedly loaned out.

We have not yet discussed the upcoming FNL Cup. This tournament helps prepare for the season. Instead of playing friendly matches, you can play in a tournament: both to prepare for the championship and to gain physical shape.

- Let's continue with the cup theme. After the Russian Cup final, when Ural was one step away from the trophy, in one of your interviews you said that the team would win the Cup next year. But it so happened that they were eliminated already at the 1/16 final stage, playing against Shinnik. Now what is the main goal?

Unfortunately, we were unlucky and ended up at Shinnik. Although I was no longer lucky with the conditions - it was a terrible field. They played like on asphalt. This is not an excuse, but still.

This year it didn’t work out with the Cup. But now for us the main game is every game. We will try to win every match and rise as high as possible. I want FC Ural to take a place higher than eighth at the end of the season. After all, this is the club’s best result in its history so far.

- Many openly say that they work with you and are your agents. It is suspicious that there are too many such people...

I don’t have and never had an agent. These are all rumors. I did not sign any agreements with anyone.

- “Ural” played the last official game of 2017 in December, on an open-air field. Do you think our football officials are doing their job when drawing up the calendar? After all, playing in such cold weather is anti-football...

Everyone saw how difficult it is to play in such weather. The field was frozen, and it all resembled ice hockey in felt boots, which we played together with Avtomobilist. It was very slippery and dangerous. Non-football conditions. And, of course, it is better not to play games on such fields.

- To the latest topic. FIFA officials said they will check the doping samples of Russian football players in 2018. Is there a risk that the football association will boycott the World Cup in Russia?

I hope nothing like this happens. So much effort has been spent, stadiums have been built... So much work has been done that I want to believe that there will be no boycotts or cancellations.

Even if there are checks, I believe that everything will be fine.

- How will you spend your vacation?

I think that, like most football players, I will be at home. There are few local players in our team. Everyone went to their cities. I will be in St. Petersburg more with my family.

- Which of the St. Petersburg football players will you meet?

- I will meet with my teammate Roman Emelyanov. My wife Christina is from Nizhny Novgorod. And Roma lives in this city. I think we’ll go to my wife’s parents and meet Roma there. My wife will connect us (laughs).

- How do you organize your leisure time?

I will go to the gym near my house. By the way, I had my first training session today. I will also read books and play computer games on the Play station. And go somewhere with relatives.

- To what extent do you plan to pump yourself up?

There are certain shortcomings in physical fitness, but you need to have a good rest. Nothing to do. Eliminate deficiencies.

I think every athlete is faced with the fact that he is missing something. Vacation is the perfect time for this.

- As the season progresses, the press does not favor you, criticizes you. Do you perceive it as painful?

Not anymore, but I have experience. I perceive it normally. Everyone has their own job. Everyone does their own thing.
