Seydou Doumbia was born and raised in Abidjan, Ivory, in a poor large family. By his own admission, his childhood was very difficult: Seydou often had to engage in street trading in order to somehow eat with the money he earned. At the age of twelve, the boy was noticed by one of the leaders of the local football school and offered to try his hand at training.
This is how Doumbia ended up in Saintre Formacion, which became his first football team. The offer from France, one might say, was already in the striker’s pocket, but due to unexpected problems with a visa, Doumbia’s career took its first sharp turn: instead of Europe, on the advice of his agent, Seydoux went to Japan, where he played for Kashiwa Reysol and Tokushima Vortis " Looking at the modest figures of his performance in the Land of the Rising Sun, it is difficult to believe that after a short time the name Doumbia, figuratively speaking, will become synonymous with the word “goal”.
Seydoux paved his way to the laurels of the best scorer and best football player of the Russian championship, two-time champion, two-time Cup winner and winner of the Super Cup of our country through Switzerland, where, while playing for Young Boys, he was also famous for his ability to score goals. The Ivorian twice became the top scorer of the championship there, scoring a “cosmic” 50 goals in two seasons - and this despite the fact that in the first of them he came as a substitute in the vast majority of matches.
In Russia, as we have already noted, Seydoux continued his sniper exploits: his debut match on August 1, 2010 against Moscow Spartak did not bring him any goals, but brought the army team a victory with a score of 2:1. And then came the goals... The calling card of our striker over the years of playing for PFC CSKA were his goals against Moscow Spartak (there are already five of them by now), a guest double in the Champions League against Manchester City, which brought the red and blue a well-deserved victory , hat-tricks in two matches in a row with Anzhi and Nalchik Spartak and, of course, a miracle goal against Dagestanis in the final of the 2012/13 Russian Cup.

However, the Romans failed to reap any tangible dividends from the transfer, which became one of the most high-profile transactions of the winter transfer window. Doumbia was born into a very poor family. He had nothing: no toys, and simply a carefree childhood, because his family sometimes could not afford food. The only entertainment, the only joy in childhood was a soccer ball - it, as a symbol, carried Doumbia through all the difficulties and helped him in life... But more on that later.
Seydoux began helping his family from an early age by selling scarves. Although, most likely, it is unlikely that his contribution to the family budget was serious - he often went hungry and worked in order to eat at least a little himself.
A teenager cannot hang his head and, having resigned himself to fate, stop living his childhood. That is why Doumbia, being a mischievous boy at heart, always played football, kicked the ball, and luck came to him. At the age of 12, his game was noticed by Olivier Coutua, the head of the football school Saintre Formacion d᾿Inter, and invited him to study at his school. The delighted little Seydoux immediately agreed.

This means that the Ivorian forward's name appeared on the scoreboard in almost every match, and this is worth a lot.
The Swiss team was only a springboard for the diligent football player - he soon moved to Moscow, where CSKA invited him.
